Hello my dear readers!

Today I'm bringing you another of mine very trendy, spring/summer inspired beaded necklace!

This one is made from a plastic and wooden beeds (the bigger, hot pink beads are wooden).

This model of necklace is really rich, because of it's vibrant colours& multiple strands of beads, it'll compliment well any simple kind of cotton tops, even a V- neck shaped..

It'll also look great with shirts left a bit unbottoned and it'll just bring more attention to the upper part of your body& cleveage!

Hello! 

Today I have for you a necklace! This is a super long, very trendy and summery necklace mod. Sunny Anna, created  with colourful wooden and glass beeds. The bigger beeds are wooden, and the small ones are glass.

If you're wearing a very simple outfit& you'd like to add a bit of colour& personality to it, a necklace like this is ideal!

I've made this necklace is many different colours: green, blue, red, purple...currently I have only ONE available, this yellow/orange/white one!! These necklaces were such a big success, they were taken even before I put them on my blog!!

I kept one for myself though, and it's in blue/pink/red :) I'll wear it A LOT this summer! This is my perfect accessorie for hot summer days, for going to the beach or just casually strolling around the town. You won't pass unnoticed, that's my guarantee. When I wear my necklace, everybody asks me where did I get it...I just smile and answer: (my) handmade!!

The Sunny Anna model will compliment the best darker complexion, but even pale complexions can wear it (I'm modelling it on the pics above- I'm NOT THAT white in the real life lol, it was just the lighting- let's blame it on the lighting lol :D ).

You can wear it wrapped around your neck one, or even two times- depends on the look you're going for!

To conclude my series of these type of earrings (thin golden chains with small pendants attached), I'll present you with this model of earrings, called Golden Leaf. I believe it's not very difficult to figure out where did I come up with this name- the pendants attached to the chains are actaully golden leaves :)

When I think about this piece of jewellery, I think of the Fall. Only in the Fall can we see that intense, golden colours of the leaves...

And even though the Fall is personally not my favourite season, because the arrival of the Fall means that the Summer is over and that we're heading towards the cold Winter, I actually like these earrings very, very much and I never feel down when wearing these- even though they remind me of the Fall :D

As i've just mentioned, I have a pair of these myself, and when wearing them, I always get a lot of compliments! I like to wear them with elegant outfits for more special occasions- no matter in which Season are we!!

I have them available in two possibilities:

Earrings mod. Lolipop Charms

"Lolipop Charms"

I'm loving the colours of these little horn pendants :)

These earrings are made with three golden chains and a colourful, plastic beads attached.

The beads are in a shape of a horn and by an italian belief, they protect against the evil eye.

Here is a bit more on this belief: "Corno, or cornicello, is an Italian amulet of ancient origin. "Corno" means horn and "cornicello" means little horn- these names refer to a long, gently twisted horn- shaped amulet worn in Italy to protect against the evil eye.

The type of horn they're intended to copy is not a curled- over sheep horn or goat horn but rather like the twisted horn of an African eland or something similar.

Over the years they have become rather stylized and now look less like a natural animal horn than they once did. A regionally popular amulet, they are primarily found in Italy and in America among descendents of Italian immigrants. These little horns (like the horns of all horned animals) are presumed to have once been sacred to the Old European moon godess, before the rise of Christianity. In Catholic symbolism, they would be related to the Virgin Mary, who is shown standing on a lunar crescent."

A little story behind these earrings: I made them in period when I was between jobs.

I liked the idea of little horns as an amulet and added colours because I wanted to think positive about my future& be persistant in my search for a new job!

Earrings mod.SeaShells Sun

Earrings mod. Sea Shells Sun

Sea Shells Sun (this model comes with a red beads)

These earrings, as you can see, are the same model as the ones from my previous post...

The only difference is,

the colour of plastic beads integrated in the golden chain (these are red- hence the name SeaShells Sun).

Again, these are the real shells from the Adriatic Sea.

I believe this piece of accessorie is ideal for the spring& summer days!

They're very lightweight, they won't make your earlobes hurt, so you can wear them all day long!

They're great with any kind of simple outfit, even just with a plain cotton tank top &blue skinny jeans. They'll make any outfit more special.

Earrings mod.SeaShells Sky

Hello Girls!

Today I'm presenting you with my handmade earrings mod. SeaShells Sky.

They're made out of three delicate golden chains and one of the chains has got a plastic turquoise beeds integrated (hence the name, Sky).

On these chains, as you can see, I attached a real seashells. I collected them during my summer vacations in Italy (in Sardinia, Jesolo and Lido di Venezia) and I spent hours& hours walking in the sea/coast, searching for the right type of shells!

I made them this winter, thinking about the sea& the sun and my summer holidays!

Seashells are special because there is a belief that each one of them has its own story to tell.

When I was a child, I used to collect seashells, and my father would buy the big ones for me, and I used to bring them closely to my ears and listen to the sound of the sea...to me, they would be telling a magical stories from the Sea World!

These earrings, in mod. Sky (blue beeds) I have currently only one pair available!

Welcome Post!

Hello my dear girls!

With this post, I'd like to give you a big Welcome to my new blog!

So many of you showed a great interest in my handmade jewellery, asking me questions about whether I could show you more detailed pics of it, asking me if it was available for sale...asking me to update you regularly on the new pieces that I make...

That's why I decided to create this blog, and it's going to be dedicated exclusively to my jewellery.

I'll post here regularly with pics and info on the jewellery that I currently have available, and update you on the new pieces that I just made!

I hope this is going to be fun for both of us& that you'll like visiting this place...where colourful beeds& my ideas meet...& the jewellery is born. :)

I'll also tell you more about what inspired me to do a certain piece of jewellery, as every single item has a little story behind, and when it comes to my jewellery- I believe it's important to tell it!

That's what makes it more special & gives it "a soul".

Some of the pieces that I have made are unique, a one piece only, ideal if you're the person who likes to have a unique piece of jewellery. I will always state whether a certain piece of jewellery is unique and if so, you'll have my guarantee that I won't make other exact same piece.
